A Portland couple needed to replace a fallen fence and add some privacy for a new hot tub at their home on the North West slope of Mt Tabor. The idea evolved from a line bending and becoming something organic.  The built form begins as a horizontal deck, then unfolds into a privacy screen that runs along the south perimeter of the site.  It's path terminates as it bends into another horizontal plane overhead.
