38 new townhomes on a previously undeveloped site overlooking the Duwamish River in Seattle. Working with Washington-based Huber Architecture, this 2.2 acre project will include seven clusters of townhouses, two new playground areas, new private streets, and a new public staircase that connects the steep site to the existing neighborhood above. Each unit features an open plan living area on the second floor with private bedrooms on the third. The roofs have been engineered for solar panels, and the front and back eaves have been extended in order to increase each unit's solar collection footprint while simultaneously offering weather protection for the balconies and windows below.
