An urban interfacing mixed-use project consisting of 80 residential units over ground floor retail. Currently vacant, the oversized parcel will be divided into four 200' x 150' blocks that will each contain an intertwined pair of buildings. The units are stacked as organic tubes that shift and stagger along each building's facade, opening up both inwards and out toward the city. A continuous promenade connects all four blocks, creating a meandering path through the site that blurs the interior from the exterior. A small public plaza greets the busier frontage street, partially enclosed by a three-story wood screen that acts as both a traditional urban facade and an evergreen trellis.
