A modern addition to a classic bungalow, expressed both inside and out. While updating the rest of the house, the client wanted a new bathroom on the second floor, but had no space for it within the existing envelope. Rather than hiding the addition, the extra space became the new focal point for the house, truthfully differentiating itself from the older form.
